So…today is the first class on the first day of school–university–and I’m not exactly as hyped up as I thought I’d be.
I have to give the teacher a chance, but his constant babbling before giving instructions or landing on the point sort of stresses me.
I wonder what grade I’ll have by the end of the semester…

You’re right, give the teacher a chance. They may be nervous about the first day, and just need a little time to settle down. Good luck in the class!
I hope you’ll feel hyped soon! I felt the same thing you described when I first started uni a few years back, sure enough I did take a break last year and started searching around for jobs instead. But now, that I’ve had some time to think about what I want to do (instead of hopping between different classes and educations) I’ve found something that I like…and even if every new course brings with it a few jitters and whatnot, I still like it. Uni is different, it really is, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Where are you studying and what subject are you taking?
I’m studying psychology, but the class I was taking that day was Communication Abilities (or something of the sort, I don’t really remember the name of the name of the subject). I had my second class the other day, and it wasn’t so bad, compared to the first. Thanks for the comments!
And…out of curiosity, what was it you found that you like? And how were you able to truly know what you wanted?
